Please read these terms carefully before using CleanSlate.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CleanSlate ("the Service"), operated by DevShield Tech ("we," "our," or "us"), you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

CleanSlate is a remote factory reset service designed for Android devices. The Service allows authorized users to initiate a full factory reset on registered Android devices remotely, wiping all personal data, applications, and settings from the device. Key features include:

  • Remote factory reset of Android devices via our web interface.
  • Device registration and management dashboard.
  • Confirmation notifications upon successful device reset.
  • Customer support for service-related inquiries.

CleanSlate is provided as a one-time service at a cost of $25 USD per device, with lifetime access to the reset functionality for the registered device.

3. Eligibility and Device Ownership

By using CleanSlate, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction.
  • You are the legal owner of the device(s) you register with CleanSlate, or you have explicit written authorization from the device owner to perform a factory reset.
  • You have the legal right to authorize the complete erasure of all data on the registered device(s).
  • The device(s) you register are not stolen, and you are not attempting to use the Service to circumvent anti-theft protections, locks, or security features placed by a legitimate owner or carrier.

Violation of device ownership requirements may result in immediate account termination and potential reporting to relevant authorities.

4. Account Registration

To use CleanSlate, you may be required to create an account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Promptly update your account information if it changes.
  • Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information, or accounts that are used in violation of these Terms.

5. Subscription, Payment, and Refunds

5.1 Pricing

CleanSlate charges a one-time fee of $25 USD per device. This fee provides lifetime access to the remote reset functionality for the specific device registered at the time of purchase.

5.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through PayPal. By making a payment, you agree to comply with PayPal's terms and conditions. We do not store your credit card or banking information on our servers.

5.3 Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, provided the remote reset has not been successfully completed on your device. For complete details, please refer to our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use CleanSlate only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to factory reset devices you do not own or have authorization to reset.
  • Use the Service to bypass anti-theft protections, device locks, or carrier restrictions.
  • Use the Service to process stolen devices or devices acquired through fraud.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service to transmit malicious code, viruses, or other harmful technology.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
  • Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service without prior written consent.
  • Resell, sublicense, or distribute the Service without explicit authorization.
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.

7. Data Responsibility

CleanSlate performs a complete factory reset that irreversibly erases all data on the target device. By initiating a reset, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All data, applications, settings, and files on the device will be permanently deleted.
  • We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from your use of the Service.
  • It is your responsibility to back up any data you wish to retain before using the Service.
  • Once a reset is initiated, it cannot be undone or reversed.

We do not store, access, or have any visibility into the content of data on your device before or after the reset process.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, graphics, software, and other intellectual property associated with CleanSlate and DevShield Tech are owned by or licensed to us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. This license does not include any right to:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.
  • Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.
  • Create derivative works based on the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

CleanSlate is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable.
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations.
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected.

You use the Service at your own risk. We are not responsible for any damage to your device, loss of data, or any other harm arising from your use of the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DevShield Tech, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Service.
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
  • Any content obtained from the Service.
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DevShield Tech and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any rights of a third party, including intellectual property rights.
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
  • We may retain your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be conducted in the courts of Morocco.

15. Dispute Resolution

Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to first contact us at support@devshield.tech and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for a period of at least thirty (30) days. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Morocco.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DevShield Tech regarding the use of CleanSlate, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.
